About the Workshop
The global transport industry is increasingly data rich. Despite this, the application of big data techniques to the sector is still in its infancy, with many providers still struggling to understand their data assets and how they can be leveraged to support their operational and business objectives.
Aims of the Workshop
Building on the success of workshops held at IEEE BigData 2017, 2018 and 2019, the session will bring together researchers and industry practitioners from the USA, Europe, and worldwide to discuss the current state-of-the-art in the field, to identify best practice that can be shared across transport modes, and to prioritise topics for research and development in the sector going forwards.
